Located in central Los Angeles, this 5-story, 65,000 square foot mixed-use development represents a blend of the existing architectural styles typically found in Fairfax & Beverly-Grove corridors in central LA. Fairfax consists of predominantly brick-clad structures, supporting commercial retail, offices and communications uses, whereas the Beverly-Grove corridor is home to more modern materials of glass, metal, and stucco with a low-rise scale.
The Beverly Blvd Apartments combines these architectural typologies by creating an angled 3-story brick mass at the street level, exposing storefronts containing a commercial office space and a corner restaurant with a covered patio. The 3rd & 4th floors are clad with metal panel and and punctured with large steel windows and doors, replicating the modern-industrial feel of the neighborhood.
At the 5th floor and roof, are occupied common roof decks, complete with a pool, cabanas, fire pits, BBQ areas, and lush landscaping.
Design and entitlements are on-going and construction is expected to start at the end of 2023.
